A song that's seldom heard enough,
cause living in this world is tough.
Birds they chatter back and forth,
believing in their own true worth.
They sing amongst the smoke-filled skies,
even though their friends may die,
forever keeping harmony,
look down upon us as we cry.
Hoping that we'll soon catch on,
maybe someday sing their song.
To be so free throughout the skies,
to get back up, the puddle dries.
Still we choose to wander past,
songs of love, are dwindling fast.
So listen to the message sung,
cause one day it'll all be done.
cause living in this world is tough.
Birds they chatter back and forth,
believing in their own true worth.
They sing amongst the smoke-filled skies,
even though their friends may die,
forever keeping harmony,
look down upon us as we cry.
Hoping that we'll soon catch on,
maybe someday sing their song.
To be so free throughout the skies,
to get back up, the puddle dries.
Still we choose to wander past,
songs of love, are dwindling fast.
So listen to the message sung,
cause one day it'll all be done.
